Job Description

As an Industrial Designer, you will be responsible for: - Conducting user research, concept generation, prototyping, and validation of concepts using the Design Thinking process for Industrial Design. - Designing user workspaces for defence systems and equipment. - Implementing human factors considerations such as ergonomics in the design process. - Creating packaging and layout designs for defence systems and equipment. - Ensuring designs are optimized for assembly, manufacturing, and maintenance processes. - Developing soft models and mock-ups for concept evaluation and refinement. - Collaborating with Engineering teams to optimize concepts and provide detailed designs. - Designing user experiences, including user interface design, and working closely with software teams for the implementation of the User Interface. Qualifications required: - Creative problem-solving skills and ability to conceptualize ideas effectively. - Strong sketching and product visualization skills. - Proficiency in 3D modeling and realistic rendering software tools. - Knowledge and expertise in image editing and graphic design software. - Familiarity with materials and manufacturing processes.,
