Product Design Manager (Electric Two Wheeler)

The position of Product Design Manager - Electric 2Wheeler is available in the Research & Development department at our plant located in New Raipur - CG. As the Product Design Manager, you will report directly to the General Manager of R&D. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the design and development of new high-speed 2-wheeler electric vehicles. You will also be involved in the productionization of these vehicles within the planned budget while ensuring high product quality. To excel in this role, you should hold a BE Mechanical qualification with 8-10 years of relevant experience in the automobile industry, preferably in the EV-Automobile sector. Your leadership, integrity, decision-making, teamwork, problem-solving, analytical, adaptability, and communication skills will be crucial in driving the success of our projects. Being result-oriented and having a strong understanding of CAD software such as CATIA and Creo is essential for part modeling, drafting, assembly, system layouts, and vehicle level layouts. Moreover, you should possess knowledge of Windchill (PDM), Enovia (PLM), ATIS, Hyper mesh, and CAE analysis. Your technical competencies should include designing and developing new platforms for electric 2-wheelers, as well as overseeing the productionization process to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality vehicles. Additionally, you will be responsible for initiating the New Product Development (NPD) process, developing variants, selecting the right vendors, and establishing an efficient R&D structure and team.
