Product Design Intern - Fintech

As a Product Design Intern at SBNRI, your role will involve collaborating with senior designers to develop product design concepts and prototypes. You will assist in creating wireframes, user flows, and mockups for new product features and improvements. Additionally, you will contribute to user research and testing, gathering valuable feedback to iterate and improve designs. Your responsibilities will also include creating design documentation, presenting design ideas to stakeholders, and ensuring designs are practical and meet business goals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, marketing) and help maintain and organize design assets for consistency across all product interfaces. Moreover, staying up-to-date with the latest design trends and tools is essential. Qualifications required for this role include currently pursuing or recently completing a degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or a related field. You should have a portfolio that showcases your design skills, including academic or personal projects. Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar is necessary. An understanding of user-centered design principles and problem-solving approaches, along with strong communication skills (verbal and written), is important. You should be able to work both independently and in a team, demonstrating a passion for design, innovation, and creating meaningful user experiences.
