Product Design Intern - Core Platform UX

As a UX Design Intern at Teradata, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of intuitive, data-driven user experiences across our platform. Your role will involve participating in generative and evaluative research activities, conducting user interviews, synthesizing findings, and supporting the creation of user personas and journey maps. Additionally, you will assist in designing wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes to align user needs with business objectives. Throughout this internship, you will gain exposure to the entire product design process, from discovery to delivery, while receiving mentorship from experienced team members. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in generative and evaluative research activities - Conduct user interviews and synthesize findings - Support the creation of user personas and journey maps - Assist in designing wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes - Align user needs with business objectives - Gain exposure to the entire product design process - Receive mentorship from experienced team members Qualifications Required: - Currently enrolled in an Anthropology, Sociology, Psychology, Design, Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or related degree program with expected graduation in 2026 - Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods - Experience with SPSS software and Figma is beneficial - Knowledge of Data warehouses, AI, or Compute engines is a plus As a qualified candidate, you should be curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. A basic understanding of design tools like Figma, qualitative research methods, and user-centered design principles is essential.
