Product Data Scientist - Crypto

You are a high-performing Data Scientist who is passionate about extracting meaningful insights from complex data sets. Working in London, UK, you will play a crucial role in understanding growing data to influence strategic decisions. Your role requires being detail-oriented, nifty, and interested in unraveling complex data trends. Familiarity with cryptocurrencies is a plus but not mandatory. **Key Responsibilities:** - Proficiency in Python/R, SQL/Bigquery. - Experience in designing, running, and analyzing A/B tests on a tech consumer product. - Minimum 2-3 years of experience at a startup or scale-up Crypto company. - Demonstrated autonomy and agency in overseeing projects from problem identification to solution implementation. **Qualifications Required:** - Ability to work full-time in London for 5 days a week. **Preferred Skills:** - Experience with crypto and blockchain data. - Strong data visualization skills, especially with Graphana. - Familiarity with events tracking data, particularly FullStory. - Strong statistical or causal inference skills. - Experience in building data pipelines, especially with Dataform. - Knowledge of Machine Learning methods. In addition to the above, you should be autonomous and self-motivated, proactively identifying and driving work rather than waiting for assignments. You should possess a broad range of knowledge in Data Science rather than specialized expertise. Your experience should include overseeing projects directly, from ideation to rollout, and developing clear and concise data visualizations. You should also be familiar with tracking data from FullStory and be able to derive insights from non-experimental data using statistical or causal inference methodologies.
