The client is a high-performance, orderbook-based perpetuals DEX launching on Monad. Backed by top crypto-native investors, they aim to build the next evolution of on-chain trading that combines CEX-level performance with DeFi composability and transparency. The mission is to bring the speed, efficiency, and capital depth of traditional finance on-chain without compromise. The DEX is built on Monad, enabling traders and LPs to operate in a fully permissionless, transparent environment with zero slippage and deep liquidity. As a Staff Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing systems connecting users to the DEX and transmitting external data to the DEX. You will play a crucial role in the development of the first fully decentralized perpetuals exchange built around a Central Limit Order Book (CLOB) on an EVM chain. Reporting to the Principal Backend Engineer, you will work on developing and maintaining systems that connect web and mobile clients to blockchain data and systems.
