Position Summary: The Product Manager ENOX will be responsible for driving the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of the product category across India. Role & Responsibilities: Develop and manage the product roadmap and category strategy in alignment with business objectives. Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitor landscape through structured Voice of Customer programs and regular engagement with sales teams, distributors, and end-users. Lead and execute New Product Introductions (NPIs) through a structured product development and go-to-market process. Monitor and drive sales performance and profitability of the product category; initiate corrective actions where necessary. Drive product benchmarking and pricing strategy in line with brand positioning and commercial goals. Improve margins through product differentiation, cost control, and pricing interventions. Partner with internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Technical) to ensure product success and customer satisfaction. Support organizational capability building by enabling product training and knowledge sharing across commercial teams. Key Skills & Competencies: Proven experience in managing a Pan-India product category , with clear achievements in driving organic growth and category profitability . Entrepreneurial mindset with a self-driven and result-oriented approach. Strong leadership, communication , and stakeholder management skills. Excellent analytical and strategic thinking capabilities. Proficient in MS Excel , PowerPoint , and working with data for decision-making. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. Deep understanding of customer-centric product development and market dynamics. Qualification & Experience: Sound understanding of retail sales, preferably in the building materials industry. MBA/PGDM from a reputed institute, preferably with an Engineering background . Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Product Management, ideally within the Building Materials / Architectural Hardware / Glass Solutions domain. Your tasks: Lead belt and belt system PD projects and provide support to other functions & departments as a PD team member, including formulation selection, component selection, construction development, and ownership to improve belt functional and durability performance. Develop belt specifications to define materials and process steps for building prototype belts. Define DFMEA and product DVP to meet the project requirements. Book and develop test plans and procedures. Define the product requalification plan (product audit plan). Coordinate with controlling for the belt cost calculation. Define the sample mold size and belt profile dimensions & geometry for specific belt sections, length, and pitch. Prototype tooling definition and ordering. Request new development from R&D central function (product platform development, material platform development). Manage development projects to ensure project plans are defined to reach the PD project targets. Regularly review the status of projects for timeliness and completion of requirements. Assess product requests from PDM with feasibility studies. Work with MatPE & PPI to ensure a successful product launch and stable production process. Conduct production trials up to verified and approved design (Gate 50). Support localization activities (materials-PD and processes-MatPE & PPI), support MatPE PI & PPI through Gate 90 for new constructions. Evaluate returned failed belts from customers and competitor belts to identify opportunities for belt construction improvements. Conduct market-specific product benchmarking in strong cooperation with market organization. Work with Material Platform / Material Process Engineering to define specifications and test procedures for raw material suppliers (cord, fabric, coating, rubber, thermoplastics, etc.). Assist in the development of new alternative material suppliers and support audits if necessary. Define with the Test Department necessary new test methods to check product quality. Submit requests for prototype belt testing by physical and dynamic labs. Evaluate the test results and document the results for discussion with application engineering and/or internal customers. Your profile: Overall technical knowledge of power transmission systems - Expert. Technical knowledge of product materials (compounds, textile cord, textile fabric) - Advanced. Overall knowledge of belt development/physics/belt manufacturing processes - Expert. Negotiation skills, Project management skills - Advanced.
