Product Analytics Specialist - Python

As an experienced Product Analytics Specialist with strong domain expertise in eCommerce and Search Analytics, your role will involve analyzing product usage and search behavior to enhance discoverability, engagement, and conversion across eCommerce platforms. You will be part of a global analytics team based in Bangalore, collaborating with North American business stakeholders and contributing to long-term strategic partnerships through staff augmentation. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct deep-dive analysis of search queries, content discoverability, and on-site product performance. - Develop performance dashboards and KPI frameworks for search and product optimization. - Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and growth teams to define and measure product success metrics. - Provide actionable insights to influence product roadmaps, search relevance tuning, and customer experience design. - Support experimentation initiatives such as A/B testing, journey analysis, and feature impact studies. - Communicate findings and recommendations effectively through data storytelling and visual analytics. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. - 4-8 years of experience in Product Analytics, Search Analytics, or eCommerce Analytics roles. - Strong practical understanding of search stream analysis, CTR optimization, and user journey metrics. - Proficiency in SQL, Python, Google Analytics, BigQuery, or Snowflake. - Ability to build and interpret dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. - Excellent skills in data visualization, insight communication, and stakeholder engagement. Desired Skills: - Familiarity with search algorithm fundamentals, taxonomy mapping, and personalization flows. - Experience in managing multiple global stakeholders across different time zones. - Strong ownership mindset and capability to work independently within an integrated team.
