Join this incredible journey at Airtel Digital. **Key Responsibilities:** - Work on API automation testing using open source tools to establish an automation framework, reducing manual test effort. - Create, review, and update automation test cases for product functionalities. - Test system functionalities to ensure the delivery of a functionally correct product. - Report and manage bugs in BTS like JIRA/Bugzilla. - Perform root cause analysis for system issues. - Communicate issues effectively to the team for quick resolution. - Ensure the product under test meets both functional and business requirements. - Contribute to and enhance existing quality processes. - Create and update regression test suites. - Understand the technical architecture of the product and feature implementation. - Provide support for prod deployments and issue triaging as per the schedule (including weekends occasionally). **Qualification Required:** - Strong knowledge of Java, Data structures, OOPS concepts, and their applications. - Understanding of Web Technologies like HTTP, REST, etc. - Knowledge of Database concepts and query languages like SQL. - Conceptual understanding of Client-Server Architecture. - Hands-on experience with manual or automated testing of web/mobile applications. - Hands-on experience with Performance Testing and Load Testing tools like JMeter. - Proactive, strong-minded, quick thinker, and assertive. - Proven track record of running projects testing via automation. - Proven experience in API test automation using Rest Assured/Karate DSL. - Working knowledge of MITM Proxy/Charles Proxy/Fiddler/Other proxy sniffing tools. - Scripting and automation experience in Java-based tools like Selenium or Protractor. - Expert level proficiency in at least one of the API testing tools (Postman/Newman/SoapUI).
