Procurement Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Executive / Buyer with hands-on experience in purchasing, vendor management, material sourcing, and purchase order processing.

Important: Only candidates with prior experience in a Buyer / Purchase / Procurement role should apply. Candidates from unrelated profiles or without practical purchasing experience will not be considered.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end purchasing and procurement activities.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors and suppliers.
• Source materials as per company requirements.
• Obtain and compare quotations from different vendors.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and release Purchase Orders (PO).
• Follow up with vendors for timely material delivery.
• Coordinate with stores, production, accounts, and other departments.
• Monitor pending orders and ensure timely procurement.
• Maintain vendor records, purchase records, and documentation.
• Ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely availability of materials.
• Resolve vendor-related issues regarding quality, pricing, and delivery.

Mandatory Requirements

• Practical experience in vendor development and material purchasing is mandatory.
• Must have experience in quotation comparison and price negotiation.
• Must be familiar with Purchase Orders (PO) and vendor coordination.
• Good knowledge of Excel and MS Office.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
