As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for understanding and ensuring compliance with applicable procurement policies, standards, and regulations. Your primary duties will include leading the execution of RFPs and other sourcing events, developing new or existing suppliers to enhance sourcing options, and reviewing purchase requisitions to ensure proper specification of scope. You will also be tasked with developing sourcing strategies for assigned commodities, identifying qualified suppliers, obtaining competitive quotations, and analyzing proposals to determine the best proposition through negotiation. Your role will involve serving as the primary contact with suppliers, maintaining required deliverables, and establishing internal interfaces with project managers, project controls, engineering, and other relevant personnel. Additionally, you will be responsible for ongoing purchasing contract administration, including revision management, warranty claim resolution, and discrepancies settlement throughout the contract's duration. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent with a specialization in purchasing preferred. You are required to have 6-8 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain or a related field within a project-driven, engineering, or manufacturing environment. Demonstrated abilities in understanding commercial language, strong written and oral communication skills, and experience in contract negotiation will be advantageous. Your competencies should include the ability to identify and onboard new suppliers, collaborate effectively with multiple disciplines, and possess knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office suite programs. Key mandatory skills for this role include Supply Chain Management (SCM), Procurement Negotiations, Negotiation, Procurement Purchasing, and Strategic Buying. You will be evaluated based on your proficiency in these skills along with your problem-solving capabilities, conflict management skills, customer relations abilities, and organizational skills to manage time and resources effectively.,
