About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Manager / Purchase

Manager with prior experience in the construction and interior industry. The candidate will be

responsible for sourcing materials, identifying and onboarding vendors, managing

procurement operations, negotiating pricing, and coordinating with labour contractors for

smooth project execution.

The role requires both field visits and office coordination, ensuring timely procurement of

materials and labour resources while maintaining quality, cost efficiency, and project

timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Vendor Management

Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors for construction materials, interior materials,

finishes, hardware, electricals, plumbing, furniture, lighting, and related products.

Develop and maintain a strong network of reliable suppliers and manufacturers

across Delhi NCR and other regions.

Compare quotations, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.

Prepare purchase orders (POs), rate comparisons, vendor analysis sheets, and

procurement reports.

Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials as per project schedules.

Track material quality, specifications, and compliance with project requirements.

Labour Contractor Sourcing

Identify and shortlist labour contractors for civil, finishing, carpentry, electrical,

plumbing, painting, false ceiling, fabrication, and interior execution works.

Evaluate contractor capabilities, manpower strength, previous work quality, and

commercial competitiveness.

Coordinate with project and site teams regarding labour deployment and execution

timelines.

Site Coordination & Field Work

Visit markets, vendors, factories, warehouses, and project sites as required.

Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, designers, and vendors for

procurement planning.

Ensure smooth supply chain coordination between vendors and project sites.

Cost Control & Documentation

Monitor procurement budgets and assist in cost optimization.

Maintain records of quotations, invoices, vendor databases, and procurement

documentation.

Track pending orders, material consumption, and delivery timelines.

Support management in procurement planning and operational improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Educational Qualification

Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture,

Construction Management, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.

Experience

2-4 years of experience in procurement/purchase within construction, architecture,

interior fit-out, or real estate industry.

Experience handling both construction and interior procurement is preferred.

Required Skill Sets

Technical & Industry Knowledge

Strong knowledge of construction and interior materials.

Understanding of market rates, vendor ecosystems, and contractor networks.

Ability to read BOQs, material specifications, and basic drawings.

Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.

Vendor & Contractor Management

Ability to identify and shortlist quality vendors and labour contractors.

Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.

Capability to compare quotations and optimize procurement costs.

Coordination & Execution

Good coordination skills with project teams, vendors, and site staff.

Ability to manage multiple vendors and procurement timelines simultaneously.

Problem-solving mindset and execution-oriented approach.

Software & Reporting

Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets.

Basic knowledge of ERP/CRM or procurement software is an advantage.

Ability to prepare reports, comparisons, and documentation professionally.

Personal Attributes

Strong communication and follow-up skills.

Honest, responsible, and detail-oriented.

Willingness to travel within Delhi NCR and outstation travels for field visits and

vendor meetings.

Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidate with existing vendor and contractor network in Delhi NCR preferred.

Prior experience in residential construction and interior execution is an added

advantage.

Immediate joiners will be given preference.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
