Job Description

Position: Supplier Manager Business Services Procurement

Location: Bengaluru IBC Knowledge Park

Experiences: Overall 10 years of experiences in Supplier Manager Business Services Procurement

Shift: General shift

  • Design and execute Supplier Relationship Management initiative in line with the organizations objectives and priorities
  • Handle procurement commodities HR Services like training services, recruitments services, loan and lease services, Insurance , product warranties, RSA, IT Services , managed services

  • Stratify suppliers based on strategic importance; design customized supplier engagement programs
  • Draft and negotiate the contracts with internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify risks early and proactively mitigate them
  • Lead and conduct the annual supplier event, including working on the content and messaging for the supply base
  • Monitor performance of the suppliers and raise alerts on any technology, supply chain, quality gaps, and work with suppliers to design improvement plans
  • Work closely with the supply base and the internal cross-functional teams of Sourcing, Fulfilment, and Quality to successfully execute the supplier engagement plans

Role and Responsibilities :

  • Good experience on understanding of supplier landscape, value chain mapping, TCO calculations.

  • Should have experience in drafting of contracts and negotiations of legal t&cs is must.
  • Should have experience in developing and executing strategies with suppliers
  • Should have experience in managing the three pillars of program management - time, cost, quality
  • Ability to work on Spend analysis, negotiations, and good understanding of commercials terms.
  • Ability to work well within a team enjoys collaborating, persuading, and influencing
  • Ability to thrive under pressure to manage challenging deadlines
  • Good collaboration skills, the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders
  • Strong planning, process management, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

Skill required :

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in engineering and MBA would be desired.

  • 8 - 15 years of relevant functional experience in handling Indirect commodities procurement

  • Experience in industries such as Automobile, Aerospace, or other related manufacturing industries would be a plus.
