Job Location: Prantij, Gujarat

Total years of Experience: 7 - 20 Years

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Identify and source electronic and electrical components, materials, and products in alignment with company needs
• Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best possible terms and pricing for products
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure consistent supply and support continuous improvement in quality and performance
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable conditions and cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
• Oversee the execution of contracts, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and agreed-upon terms
• ZBC for wire harness components
• Global bench marking for electrical and electronic components to make sure competitive sourcing
• Prepare suppliers strategy plan(Grow/Fix/Exit)
• Ensure Legal documents signed off like NDA/supply contract/Warranty agreements with related commodity supplier before sending RFQ
• Continuously monitor global trends in the E&E sector, including new technologies, supplier innovations, and potential risks (e.g., supply chain disruptions, material shortages).
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on market analysis to drive sourcing decisions and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Proactively manage risks associated with supply chain disruptions, including developing contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery for electrical and electronic parts
• Manage the procurement process from requisition to purchase order to ensure timely deliveries and quality standards are met (100% adherence for EESL DOA with zero deviation)
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and manufacturers of electronic and electrical products
• Evaluate supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with agreed-upon terms and conditions
• Monitor supplier performance to ensure timely delivery, quality of products, and cost-effectivenes
• stay informed on industry trends, technological advancements, and product innovations in electronics and electrical fields.
• Conduct market analysis to identify new suppliers and alternative products that can reduce costs or improve product performance
• Analyze cost structures and work to reduce procurement costs while maintaining product quality and service.
• Assist with budget planning, forecasting, and reporting to ensure adherence to financial targets
• Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure products meet company and industry standards.
• Address any quality-related issues with suppliers, ensuring quick resolution
• Maintain accurate records of all purchase orders, contracts, and supplier communications.
• Ensure that all procurement activities align with company ethical standards and regulations
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of procurement software and systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Solid understanding of electronics and electrical components, specifications, and standards.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
• Knowledge of quality control processes and regulations in the electronics and electrical industries.
