Job Title: Senior Electrical Design Engineer Position Type: Permanent Department: Electrical Reporting To: Head of Department (HOD) No. of Positions: 1 Preferred Age: 30-35 years Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering Experience: 08 to 10 years of experience in design and analysis within refineries, petrochemical, or chemical plants, preferably in an Engineering/EPC company. Key Responsibilities: · Proficient in providing technical inputs & engineering support to the team from conception to completion of project within specified timelines and budget man-hours. · Preparation/review of Single Line Diagram, Electrical load list & load data analysis, various equipment & system sizing calculation. · Sizing calculations like Transformer, AC UPS, DC UPS, Generator sizing, Cable Sizing, illumination, earthing & lightning protection calculations, Cable tray/trench sizing, etc. · Preparation/review of Electrical system studies like load flow, short circuit, motor starting using ETAP. · Preparation/review of Protection & Relay coordination study, Arc flash analysis. · Preparation/review of Substation layouts: (SS Equipment Layout, Power Layout, Earthing Layout, Cable Tray/Trench routing Layout, Lighting Layout etc.). · Preparation/review of Plant layouts: (Cable Tray/Trench routing Layout, Power Layout, Earthing/Lightning protection Layout, Lighting Layout and Hazardous area classification Layout etc · Preparation of Cable schedule, cable drum schedule, drums cutting schedule, Lighting & Small power panel schedule and interconnection schedule. · Material procurement related activities viz. Preparation/review of MR/PR, Specification and data sheet for various electrical items, Preparation of MTO. · Vendor offer review, preparation of Technical Queries, Technical Bid Evaluation, review of vendor documents and drawings for various Electrical equipment, Electrical heat tracing system. · Attended FAT for various electrical equipment including Transformer (Siemens – Austria), AC/DC UPS (Statron - Switzerland, Power Distribution boards (Massera – Dubai) · In depth knowledge for Sacrificial & Impressed Current Cathodic Protection system. · Carried out proposal/pre-bid engineering and Estimation and control of engineering man-hour budgets. · Coordinating with various disciplines like Process, Instrumentation, Piping, Civil, Mechanical, Construction, Procurement, Project Control / Planning, Project etc Technical Skills & Software Proficiency: Key Competencies: Software Proficiency: 3D Modeling & Detailing: General Software: Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From ₹50,000.00 per month Benefits: Cell phone reimbursement Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location: In person Application Deadline: 04/08/2025 Expected Start Date: 04/08/2025
