Purpose of the Role: This position is meant to serve the purpose of being the front line of the flow chemistry to ensure that Process Engineering and design work is done with rigor and made error free. Job Responsibilities: Process Intensification of key AIs from batch to continuous flow process. RTD Studies, Process design calculations, flow diagrams and P&IDs Engineering, commissioning and automation of Flow Pilot plant Conduct trials in pilot plant & data generation for heat & mass transfer, mixing study , waste generation , utility consumption etc. Data generation and data collection required for Scale-up process from Pilot study Material balance study. In-house Reactor design and fabrication PFD , P&ID preparation Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech. - Chemical (Full time) with 1-3 Years of Experience Knowledge of Scale up studies, Pilot Trials Attention to details & excellent presentation skills Process Calculations Basics of flow chemistry , added advantage. Basic understanding of different safety tests like MIT, MIE, Explosivity etc. and designing safety interlocks based on the results of tests. Skills Required: Basic computer skills e.g., MS-Excel, MS-word Ability to work in team with high agility and lead team cross functional team Customer Focus

Role & responsibilities - Support the implementation of projects through lab, pilot trials and process engineering expertise partnering with internal and external resources. _ To collect data from lab experiments and do Mass & Energy Balance; coordinate with R&D in making DoE for negative experiments - Do Kinetic calculation and make DoE for Micro reactor trials. - Collect and analyze Microreactors /flow reactors trials for optimization --Individual must be able to provide solutions through literature survey, generating novel ideas and creatively applying existing or new technology. - Coordinate and support operating team for executing experiments at Process intensification lab. - Estimate and propose additional equipments, piping/instruments requirements for intensification trials. - Evaluate the intensification requests from business through checklist for feasibility. - Understand MSDS and process safety testing results and incorporate safety aspects in DoE and operations. - Prepare data sheets (TSS) for additional equipment and evaluate vendor quotes and provide technical recommendations. -Able to create conceptual PFDs & concept layouts for process intensification projects - Utilize and interpret data from TSU, RC1 and different analytical instruments for example GC, HPLC, ICP etc. -Able to calculate and arrive at CAPEX figures for Class 4 estimation of process intensification proposal once concept is validated through intensification trials. -Should Participate in Hazop, PSSR of Process Intensification trials -Enquiry floating of additional equipments and technical clearance of equipments - Capture learnings from Process intensification trials and document it. - Support Management of Change during trial execution - Review R&D TTD package and current plant data for process intensification trials DoE. - Recommend suitable technology selection with ROI and Benefits and comply to Aarti Standard - Follow up with R&D for Chemical Reaction Hazard analysis and safety studies for all chemical and intermediates - Support Technology Development Manager for standards and Manual creation -Create an atmosphere in a team to promote values and culture of the company. Role & responsibilities: Technology- Responsible to Ensure smooth functioning of flow chemistry Laboratory. Good knowledge of developing and optimizing continuous flow chemistry process. Handling different types of flow reactor equipments for process intensification. Plans and Design experiments for product development. Responsible for timely completion of plan and development of products and processes on continuous flow reactor. Good knowledge of analytical tools such as NMR, IR, HPLC, GC. Laboratory Performance- Ensure the flow reactor operation during performing chemical reaction and follow strict methodologies to carry out safe experimentation. Regular checking and control of laboratory journals and other records. Maintenance of Equipments or Instruments given under laboratory control. Collaborate with other divisions for work related matters Operation and Safety- Good Knowledge of using flow reactors, understanding how to operate reactors, distillation equipment, crystallization techniques, and separation processes. Understanding reaction parameters means having knowledge about the factors that affect a chemical reaction. Good observation refers to carefully watching the reaction process. Documenting the unit operations is the act of recording information about the steps involved in a chemical process. Follow and put into action safety rules. Knowledge of handling and use of PPEs to operate hazardous reaction in safe manner. Documentation and Data Analysis- Analyzes and documents the complied results obtained during product and flow process development. Work together with analytical chemists to get information, study it, and give a report to the Sr. Management while writing it down in lab notebooks. Stakeholder Management- Show that you have a good attitude and can work well with others in a fast and always changing technology setting. Manage Stakeholder mapping and prepare communication to stakeholders, Also, answer any questions they may have. Policies, Processes and Systems- Analyzes and understands business systems, current practices, and challenges. Evaluates procedures, identifies best practices, and recommends changes. Works with system stakeholders and IT leadership to develop application work plans, identify priorities, and establish timelines and goals.
