Drawing using in-house developed software and design manuals Preparation of technical response / deviations to tenders and bids Interaction with Vendors and internal departments for quotations of bought-out items / fabricated items / site services required for costing Preparation of Bill of Materials, Costing based on customization requirements of Clients and submission of Optimized Techno-commercial Proposal to client. Participating in techno-commercial discussion with Client along with Sales Team Achieving order booking target (value and no of orders as per ABP ) for the assigned product lines Transferring the Design Inputs and order information like ODS, Budget entry to execution team upon receiving order. Interaction with Sales Team, Customer and internal departments for sorting out open issues like CCN (or) process/ basic engineering issues and providing clarifications as required Market analysis for necessary changes in existing product as well as for any new product requirement. Key Responsibilities: Lead all technical efforts related to industrial filtration and pressure vessel projects, from inquiry to final delivery. Serve as the principal application engineer , interpreting client specifications and translating them into effective filtration solutions. Guide and oversee all process calculations , including flow rate, pressure drop, sizing, and filtration element selection. Ensure accurate vessel sizing and mechanical design , meeting applicable standards such as ASME, PED, and DIN. Oversee and validate the creation of P&IDs, GA drawings, fabrication drawings , and complete design packages using AutoCAD and design tools. Engage directly with customers and consultants during the pre-sales and post-sales phases to clarify technical specifications, conduct meetings, and support the sales team in generating accurate technical proposals. Lead cross-functional coordination with sales, production, quality, procurement , and project management teams to ensure alignment across departments. Manage, mentor, and grow a team of process engineers and CAD designers, ensuring adherence to quality and project timelines. Provide final approval of engineering documentation, calculations, and deliverables before submission to clients or internal departments. Drive innovation in product and process design, continuously seeking improvements in cost, quality, and performance. Represent the company in client meetings, technical presentations, audits, and industry forums as a subject matter expert.
