You will be responsible for providing technical consulting services leveraging NALCO Waters intellectual property to assist the sales force in increasing account revenue and profitability. Your expertise will be utilized to offer advice and assistance to NALCO Staff and customers within the primary metals industries. You should have a deep understanding of Nalco's application portfolio and the industry processes affected by these applications, particularly within the primary metals industry segment. Your role will involve working closely with the local sales team and Application engineers to audit and assess customer operations. By identifying areas where Nalco chemical applications and digital technology can enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, maximize productivity, improve product quality, minimize waste, and enhance safety. Your responsibilities will also include conducting on-site audits to address customer problems related to primary metals Water & Process applications. You should be able to summarize your findings in technical reports and present key findings and service reports during customer meetings, emphasizing the value provided by Nalco programs. Additionally, you will be involved in providing on-the-job product and sales training, collaborating with Marketing, RDE, and Sales stakeholders to identify new products and program applications, and participating in the development and commercialization of new programs. Monitoring product margins, discussing deviations with stakeholders, and suggesting alternate products or innovations to retain customers will also be part of your role. Furthermore, you will play a proactive role in supporting and developing strategic market plans for specific segments/products, creating value documentation, and delivering tools to the sales team to quantify the value provided by Nalco programs. You will be required to maintain a high level of technical knowledge within the industry and market segments by staying updated on new developments, products, research, and concepts. Your skills and experience should include a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Chemical/Metallurgical engineering or related field, a strong background in water treatment chemistries, knowledge of water and wastewater plant operations, water automation, digital solutions, and managed operations. Experience in troubleshooting water and wastewater plants, excellent communication skills, agility, self-drive, and results orientation are essential for this role. Moreover, fluency in English and local languages, as well as willingness to travel frequently domestically and internationally, are key requirements for this position.,
