You will work closely with designers, modelers, and developers to ensure animations meet gameplay and artistic expectations. Create high-quality 3D character and object animations for in-game use. Work with rigged models to animate characters, creatures, and props with realistic or stylized motion. Collaborate with game designers, modelers, and developers to ensure smooth integration of animations into the game engine. Utilize keyframe animation and motion capture techniques to develop fluid and believable animations. Maintain animation consistency, style, and technical feasibility within the project's constraints. Optimize animations for performance and real-time rendering. Test and troubleshoot animation-related issues within the game engine. Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in game animation and motion technology. Required Skills & Qualifications: - 1+ year of experience in 3D animation, preferably in the gaming industry. - Proficiency in Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max for animation creation. - Experience with game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine for animation implementation. - Strong understanding of animation principles, including timing, weight, and fluidity. - Knowledge of rigging and skinning is a plus. - Ability to work with motion capture data and refine animations. - Understanding of game development workflows and animation pipelines. - Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a team-oriented environment. - Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset.
