Role & responsibilities Software Development Design and code software modules. Participate in code reviews, unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Work on Proof of Concepts (POCs), demos, installation, and maintenance. Documentation Prepare essential documents like: Software prototypes Architecture and design documents User interfaces (as per UX guidelines) Test plans and test cases Installation and release documents Maintain clear and well-documented code and diagrams. Technical Tasks Write technical specs using Java/J2EE. Work on backend, UI, and batch processing. Perform troubleshooting through log analysis and database query optimization. Quality and Control Follow operational control policies. Contribute to team quality audits and reporting (QACMP). Ensure tasks are completed within the estimated time and effort. Preferred candidate profile Education: Bachelor's in Engineering/Technology (Computer Science or IT) or MCA. Experience: 34 years in software development, ideally with experience in: BPM/ECM/DMS/CCM platforms Product implementation Technical Skills (Must-Have): Programming: Java, JSP, Servlets, Struts, EJB, Hibernate, SQL/Oracle, J2EE Tools & Platforms: Eclipse IDE, SVN, JIRA, Apache, JMeter, JDBC Frameworks/Servers: WebSphere, JBoss Portal Server Protocols/Standards: SOAP, REST Project Methodologies: Agile, Waterfall Mandatory Tools: BAM and ProAgile hands-on experience is specifically required.
