Job Purpose: To conduct audits of financial transactions, stock, workshop operations, and processes to ensure compliance, accuracy, and control within the automobile dealership (sales, service, and spares). Key Responsibilities: Audit vehicle sales transactions, service billing, and spare parts billing. Verify stock levels of vehicles, spare parts, and workshop consumables. Check daily cash collection, bank deposits, and reconciliation. Audit discounts, schemes, incentives, and approvals in sales and service. Review workshop job cards, billing accuracy, and pending jobs. Audit warranty claims, insurance claims, and vendor payments. Verify GST, TDS, RTO fees, and statutory payments compliance. Perform surprise audits of physical stock (vehicles/spares) and cash. Check process compliance in showroom and workshop as per company SOP. Identify financial and operational risks and recommend corrective actions. Prepare and submit audit reports to management with observations and recommendations. Key Skills & Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Finance; CA-Inter/CMA-Inter preferred. 2–5 years of audit/accounting experience in the automobile sector. Knowledge of dealership management systems (DMS , Tally ERP / SAP.). Familiar with GST, TDS, RTO-related transactions, and tax compliance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Excellent attention to detail with strong communication and reporting skills. Clearly explain recommended repairs, maintenance, and associated costs to customers. Keep customers informed on the status of their vehicles during service. Handle warranty and insurance claims processing. Close repair orders and process invoices and payments. Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve complaints in a timely, professional manner.
