Job Description The Procurement Manager role is to manage the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services required by an organization. Procurement Manager is responsible for developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and optimizing the procurement process to meet the organization's needs. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Monitoring of minimum stock level & total Inventory Management. Develop, plan and implement sourcing and purchasing strategies. Prepare cost estimates and manage budgets. Experience in developing new vendor networks and managing vendor contracts. Monitor the contract preparation and order placement at the right time according to the purchasing cycle. Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including requisition review, purchase order generation, and order tracking. Synchronize and coordinate works & activities with all internals & external customers (inter-department & vendors) Negotiate with suppliers to get the most appropriate prices & conditions. Experience in due diligence of materials and has hands-on experience of quality checks. Ensuring all procured items meet the required quality standards. Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness. Good knowledge about Supply Chain Management & processes specific to cosmetic materials. Be able to lead and develop a team to expand procurement centers across other regions in India. Lead and supervise a procurement team, providing guidance, coaching, and support. Foster effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and achieve organizational objectives. Key Skills & Competencies Required Proven experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, with progressive responsibility. Strong understanding of procurement principles, procedures, and best practices. Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders and vendors. Sound financial and budgeting acumen. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance related to inventory management. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
