As an Art Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing lesson plans in visual arts that align with the curriculum. You will teach students various art techniques and mediums including drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, digital art, and crafts. Encouraging creativity and self-expression while teaching the elements and principles of design will be an essential part of your role. You will assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain records of achievement. Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters artistic growth is key, as well as organizing and displaying student artwork within the school and during exhibitions or events. Guiding students in art projects and competitions, both within and outside the institution, will also be part of your responsibilities. You will be required to maintain art supplies and ensure the art room is safe, clean, and well-organized. Staying updated on contemporary art trends and incorporating relevant content into lessons is important, as well as collaborating with other faculty members to integrate art with other subjects when appropriate. Qualifications: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Art Education, or a related field. - Teaching certification or diploma in education is preferred but not mandatory depending on the institution. - Previous experience teaching art at the primary/secondary/college level is preferred. - Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills. This is a part-time position with a day shift schedule located in Thiruvalla, Kerala. You must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work. Job Summary Job Title: Textile Training Lead Location: Marol, Mumbai (K12 Techno Services Pvt. Ltd. Office) Reports To: Head - Visual Arts Role Overview The Textile Training Lead will be responsible for end-to-end curriculum planning, implementation, teacher training, program quality assurance, and student impact in our overall visual arts education for K12 schools. The role demands proactive planning and an ability to drive excellence in both teacher performance and student outcomes. Key Responsibilities Curriculum & Content Delivery Create curriculum deliverables (skill mapping, modules, lesson plans, and video resources). Training & Teacher Support Conduct all training and deliver documents as per the training calendar. Maintain training reports with a post-training feedback score. Achieve 90% teacher satisfaction rate in feedback surveys. Identify teachers needing additional support, provide targeted training, and submit monthly comparative reports. Respond to all teacher queries within TAT. Observation & Student Impact Conduct branch observations to review and analyse student outcomes. Identify talented students, mentor them, and highlight achievements. Showcase student impact through initiatives and share progress reports for assigned branches. Program Development & Visibility Ideate, plan, and execute special projects to enhance the visibility of the textile program.
