Job Description

As a member of the Subject Matter Expert (SME) Engineering Department, you will work closely with the Account Team to position the Portfolio of SecOps Solutions. Responsibilities: - Member of the SME team covering the India region (India & SAARC Region). - Expected to work from the office three days per week to collaborate with extended teams, fostering trusted relationships and teamwork. - Provide second level pre-sales support by assisting the field SE organization in: - Responding to RFPs/RFIs by designing, specifying solutions, and providing product information. - Supporting key projects to ensure Fortinet's success. - Leading technical discussions, articulating technology, and demonstrating differentiated value. - Conducting compelling solution presentations, demonstrations, and POCs (Proof of Concept). - Hands-on assistance in: - Building technical materials to support sales activities (slideware, solution brief, white papers, success stories, technical notes, TOI, etc.) and designing internal workshops. - Performing external workshops & PoCs for prospects or customers on product evaluations and demonstrations in collaboration with Account SE. - Performing hands-on tests to validate network designs, customer proof-of-concept setups, and network deployments for new products and features. - Effectively disseminate product knowledge to the Sales Team and Channel. - Act as a point of contact for the CSE team by reporting and consolidating customer needs across the India region, validating business cases, writing, and escalating feature requests. - Report project activities, analyze project trends, and provide market vision. - Participate in the development of commercial strategies. - Ability to travel at short notice within the India region. - Collect information on competitive solutions, products, and services and update the Channel and Account team. Requirements: - Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills: Must be able to deliver presentations to CXOs, Partners, etc. - Interface seamlessly between Sales and Presales team/Customers/Partners: Requires good Technical, Presentation, and PR skills. - Excellent hands-on experience in SIEM, SOAR, and NDR is a must. - Working experience on automation scripts using any platforms is necessary. - Experience in developing SecOPS Solutions/Architectures for customers. - Good hands-on experience with deploying at least NGFW, WAF, Mail security in any kind of environment. - Proficient in Problem-Solving, Monitoring, and Incident Response. - Ability to deliver technical training to partners. - Create use-cases based on available solutions and different types of existing/potential customers.
