Job Summary:

Principal Systems Engineer

You'll play a key role in guiding projects through their entire lifecycle from concept and architecture through integration, verification, and delivery ensuring alignment with customer needs and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and guide technical teams through

  requirements decomposition, system design, and integration

  activities.
• Provide

  technical oversight

  to ensure all designs align with project and customer specifications.
• Develop creative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
• Serve as a

  technical consultant and subject matter expert

  across programs.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure technical and operational success.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering technical and leadership growth.
• Lead

  risk assessments, trade studies, and system modeling

  to support decision-making.
• Develop and oversee

  system verification and validation plans

• Contribute to

  proposal efforts

  , system architecture design, and cost estimation.
• Stay current with

  emerging technologies

  and drive continuous improvement of systems engineering practices.

Required Background & Experience:

• Minimum

  8 years

  of experience in a

  software-driven technology environment

• Proven experience working on

  complex system engineering projects

  .
• Strong background in

  Systems Engineering or Solution Architecture

  .
• Experience in

  team-level leadership

  for development or integration projects.
• Familiarity with

  both Waterfall and Agile

  development methodologies.
• Awareness of

  software engineering best practices

  and ability to enforce technical standards.
