Principal SDE in Test - Principal SDET

You will be responsible for leading the quality engineering strategy, designing scalable solutions, providing technical leadership, overseeing performance engineering, validating data workflows, optimizing tools and processes, mentoring and training SDETs, managing risks, and collaborating with stakeholders. Your key responsibilities include: - Define and drive the organization-wide quality engineering strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and technology roadmaps - Design, implement, and optimize highly scalable, end-to-end testing frameworks for enterprise-level systems - Provide thought leadership in automation, testing practices, and quality assurance - Develop and oversee strategies for performance testing to validate system reliability under peak load conditions - Lead validation of complex data workflows, ensuring accuracy and consistency in large-scale data pipelines - Evaluate and implement cutting-edge testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness - Mentor and guide junior and senior SDETs, fostering a culture of excellence in quality engineering - Identify, prioritize, and mitigate risks in development and deployment pipelines - Partner with architects, product managers, and engineering leaders to ensure high-quality deliverables aligned with customer needs Qualifications: Technical Skills: - Deep expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C# - Extensive experience with advanced automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright) and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, k6) - Strong background in API testing and integration tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured, Karate) - In-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and DevOps practices - Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) - Expertise in microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and asynchronous messaging patterns - Experience with large-scale data validation, ETL pipelines, and data-driven testing Domain Expertise: - 8+ years of experience in SDET, quality engineering, or software development, with a focus on enterprise-grade systems - Proven track record in managing the quality of complex ERP and third-party integrations Leadership and Collaboration: - Demonstrated ability to lead quality initiatives across multiple teams and stakeholders - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience presenting to leadership and technical teams - A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement Education And Experience: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field - 8+ years of professional experience in quality engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role,
