PRINCIPAL - QUALITY ENGINEERING

As a PRINCIPAL - QUALITY ENGINEERING at our company, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our automation capabilities. Your responsibilities will include supporting the execution of our automation road map, collaborating with team members to develop infrastructure and tools across multiple technology stacks, and ensuring adherence to governance procedures and development standards. The primary goal of our Quality Assurance team is to support the WI business in the US by closely collaborating with IT partners. With a focus on technical excellence and the evolution towards a DevOps culture, we aim to develop Automation Infrastructure that aligns with business needs and supports technological advancements. Your key responsibilities will involve translating business and systems requirements into technical specifications for automation and software tools, designing and maintaining automated tests and software tools, actively participating in planning and executing automation metrics, and following software engineering principles to develop high-quality automation software. To excel in this role, you should possess strong hands-on experience in building automation test frameworks using tools like Java, TypeScript, Cucumber, REST Assured, and Karate. Additionally, experience with CI/CD pipelines, good analytical skills, and a solid understanding of Automation Frameworks are essential. Your ability to communicate effectively, collaborate with technical resources, and work closely with both business customers and project team members will be crucial for success. While hands-on experience with Java, Cucumber, REST Assured, setting up automation frameworks, and API testing is mandatory, knowledge of Jenkins, Git Stash, Azure, and AWS services is advantageous. Your work will have a direct impact on enabling the WI business lines to achieve their long-term objectives and enhance technical expertise across various functions. The ideal candidate for this role will have at least 10 years of hands-on testing experience, including proficiency in Java/Typescript, automation scripting, and API/Webservices testing. A degree in Computer Science or related field, along with relevant certifications, will be beneficial. Experience in Performance testing will be an added advantage.
