Principal Product Designer Hyderabad, India - 6 month contract role We are looking for a Principal Product Designer to join our talented India Studio. your primary focus will be to work with product and engineering partners to deliver seamless, efficient, and cohesive user experiences across internal systems. Collaborating with other UX pillars where required and working with several delivery squads, you’ll take a design lead approach to tackling complex challenges with the user in mind. Skills and experience required: Extensive experience creating design solutions for high profile digital products or services, preferably agency, but client side will be considered. Experienced in User Centred Design, applies an iterative design process focusing on the users and their needs in each phase of the design process. Well versed in Interaction Design, designs interactive products and services, going beyond the item in development to include the way users will interact with it. Advanced in Information Architecture, the design and arrangement of information, content, and navigation in a way that facilitates intuitive and efficient user experiences within digital platforms or systems. Advanced knowledge in Visual Design, uses imagery, colour, shapes, typography, and form to enhance usability and improve the user experience. Experienced in Wireframing, designs a website service at the structural level, laying out content and functionality on a page and considering user needs and user journeys. Well-versed in Accessibility & Inclusive Design, ensures that products are convenient to all while considering user diversity. Proficiency with Usability Testing, in planning, designing, executing, and analysing usability tests. Knowledge of various testing methods, such as moderated and unmoderated testing, remote testing, and eye-tracking. Advanced understanding of User flows develops the path taken by a prototypical user on a website or app to complete a task. Great collaborator, working together in a coordinated and cooperative manner to achieve a common goal or complete a shared task. Experienced in Presenting/ demonstrating, convey information, ideas, or products to an audience, using clear communication and engaging techniques to facilitate understanding and engagement. Well-versed in Workshop coordination, manages facilitated, interactive sessions conducted either in person or remotely for brainstorming, interactive learning, building relationships, and problem-solving with users or customers. Advanced in Heuristic evaluation, uses rules of thumb to measure the usability of user interfaces in independent walkthroughs and report issues. Key responsibilities: Collaborate and highlight areas of needed coordination between teams in a cross-functional set-up, ensuring delivery aligns to strategies. Understand expectations, timelines and outcomes, supporting the team to remove blockers. Support the conception, creation, implementation and refinement of user centric outcomes. Develop on-brand designs that delight our customers and enhance appeal of the game. Work with design methodologies, ensuring that design decisions are rooted in deep user insights, feedback, and usability best practices. Understand and utilise user feedback, data analytics, industry trends, and competitive analysis to inform design decisions and continuously enhance user experiences. Collaborate with developers, artists, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of design concepts and maintain design consistency. Be aware of the latest UX trends, technologies, and advancements, driving innovative design concepts. Support a culture of design thinking and innovation, utilising a creative problem-solving mindset. Ensure adherence to relevant best practices, brand guidelines and design system framework. Uphold the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and professionalism in all UX design activities. Champion experimentation, conceptual thinking and creative expression in the design process. Deepen and evolve expertise in creating design systems for our clients. Thought leadership in branding, visual design and design systems, such as contributing to conferences and industry panels. Define the best approach to client briefs, assist in scoping work and participate in pitch teams.
