Principal Full Stack Engineer

Role Overview: You are being sought after for the position of Senior / Principal Full Stack Engineer by FC's client. As a Principal Full Stack Engineer, you will play a crucial role in leading the founding team to develop next-generation AI-native finance technology for enterprises. You must have a strong background in building scalable web applications and data-intensive systems. This hands-on role requires both backend engineering expertise and frontend craftsmanship to drive the development of core features and set engineering standards. Your responsibilities will include architecting and building features, integrating with third-party APIs, designing data models, developing frontend experiences, setting best practices, collaborating with design and product teams, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring software security and scalability. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and build end-to-end features - Lead development of secure integrations with third-party APIs - Design and maintain data models and pipelines for real-time applications - Implement intuitive frontend experiences using modern frameworks like React/Next.js - Set engineering best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment - Collaborate with design and product teams to deliver elegant solutions - Mentor junior engineers and foster a high-performing engineering culture - Ensure software security and scalability to meet enterprise needs Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong full stack background - Ability to apply engineering solutions pragmatically to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable systems - High level of product and business acumen to identify trade-offs and deliver value - Hands-on experience in shipping quality products in a fast-paced environment - Deep expertise in backend development (Go, Java, Node.js, Python, or similar) - Strong experience with frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, or similar) - Strong database skills (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar) - Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills Additional Company Details (if any): The client is on a mission to build next-generation AI-native finance technology for enterprises.
