Principal Engineer System Architecture

As a leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron Technology is seeking a SSD Systems Architect to be a part of the architecture and product planning team. You will play a key role in defining innovative product concepts and SSD architectures to meet the storage needs of our customers. - Identify and define product concepts - Maintain technical relationships with customers and partner system architects - Collaborate with engineering teams for successful implementation of new product concepts - Develop new product architecture specifications - Generate intellectual property - Represent Micron at industry events - Stay updated on technical trends - Provide system architectural requirements to go-to-market teams To excel in this role, candidates should have: - Minimum of eight years of relevant engineering experience - Systems experience in SSD or HDD architecture - Knowledge of storage protocols and NAND flash - Technical skills in storage systems and firmware-based storage devices - Strong problem-solving skills - Excellent communication abilities - Willingness to collaborate with diverse teams A BSEE or equivalent is required for this position.
