Principal Engineer - PHE & Fire(Building Engineering)

As a Principal Engineer- PHE (Building Engineering) at AECOM in India, you will have the exciting opportunity to work on impactful B+P projects across global offices and further enhance your technical expertise within a supportive and high-performing team. **Role Overview:** - Perform specific and moderate portions of broader assignments under the guidance of an experienced engineer. - Gather and correlate basic engineering data following established procedures. - Work on detailed engineering tasks involving calculations and simple tests. - Propose solutions for new problems using modifications of standard procedures. - Complete primary design elements for engineering works independently. - Adhere to budget and schedule with minimal supervision. - Develop experience in a professional position to perform at this level effectively. **Key Responsibilities:** - Master's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution. - 10-14 years of relevant experience in a GDC-type environment. - Experience in retail and hospitality projects of medium to large scale. - Familiarity with ASHRAE, CIBSE, and NFPA standards and regulations. - Experience in commercial, residential, data center, and infrastructure projects across various geographies. - Knowledge of International Fire Codes like NFPA and ME Codes. - Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred. - Strong proficiency in energy modeling software such as eQUEST, EnergyPlus, or IES-VE.
