Lead mechanical design efforts for Datacenter, industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects across the US and Europe. Oversee HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection system designs, ensuring compliance with international codes and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, CIBSE, etc.). Manage BIM-based design and coordination, ensuring seamless integration with architectural and structural teams. Develop mechanical system layouts, schematics, and detailed construction drawings using Revit MEP and AutoCAD. Conduct clash detection and coordination reviews using Navisworks and BIM 360. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, structural engineers, and electrical engineers, to optimize building performance. Review project requirements, specifications, and deliverables to ensure quality and accuracy. Mentor and guide junior engineers and BIM modelers, promoting best practices in mechanical design and BIM execution. Provide technical leadership in energy-efficient and sustainable mechanical system design. Engage with clients and project stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure alignment with project goals. Support project management activities, including resource planning, scheduling, and risk assessment. Stay updated on industry trends, BIM advancements, and evolving mechanical design technologies.

As a BIM Engineer specializing in Electrical design coordination for building services, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Electrical design model is effectively coordinated with other services, taking into account clearance, access, maintenance, and constructability considerations. Your role will involve reviewing Electrical models, including low and high voltage, containment, etc. You will be tasked with the 3D coordination of Electrical services with other disciplines using Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud to create fully integrated design solutions. Collaboration with Electrical design engineers is essential to develop integrated design solutions from the conceptual stage to the detailed design stage. You will also represent the client and other stakeholders in coordination meetings, presenting and defending the Electrical design coordination. Your focus will be on ensuring the highest quality for Electrical design model submissions in compliance with Project standards, client requirements, and the BIM execution plan. Additionally, you will perform Quality Assurance and Control checks on models to ensure geometrical and parametric compliance with the Project's BIM requirements. Preparation of discipline models and content for internal reviews and coordination meetings will also be part of your responsibilities. The ideal candidate for this position should possess extensive experience in Electrical design across various project types and demonstrate proven expertise in spatial coordination within Electrical design, delivering high-quality, efficient, and compliant solutions. Knowledge of British Standards, NEC, CIBSE, NFPA, UAE & KSA codes, and local regulations is required. A minimum of 5+ years of design coordination experience in Electrical design, preferably with experience in project delivery in the Middle East, is essential. Experience working in a design consultancy and collaborating with remote design centers is preferred. Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks Manage, and BIM 360/ACC, preferably certified as an Autodesk Certified Professional, is expected. A strong understanding of Electrical engineering systems and terminology, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, is necessary. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills are also desired. Qualifications Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (with minimum 10 years experience) or Equivalent and specialising in HVAC Design. He/She should be well versed with ASHRAE/CIBSE/NFPA. He/She should have experience in commercial, residential, datacentre, and infrastructure projects from different geographies - USA, Canada, ANZ Region. Experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer - Specialized in HVAC Design. Should be capable of leading the discussions with the Client and lead projects for the HVAC Disciplines. Should be able to take Design decisions independently.
