Principal Engineer, DSP

As a DSP Software Engineer, you will contribute to engineering audio systems and integrated technology platforms that enhance the driving experience. Your role will encompass customizing and integrating audio DSP algorithms for automotive environments, porting DSP algorithms to various processors/platforms, designing audio signal flows and software architectures, and developing production-ready software following defined processes. Key Responsibilities: - Customise and integrate audio DSP algorithms within complex, multi-threaded, multi-processor architectures and audio frameworks for automotive applications. - Port DSP algorithms to different processors/platforms and optimize resource utilization. - Design audio signal flows and software architectures using SW platform components. - Develop production-ready software while estimating processing resources and optimizing system performance. - Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders to achieve project goals. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - 8-10 years of experience in DSP, preferably in the audio field. - 6+ years of embedded software development experience. - Proficiency in C++/C or other structured languages. - Experience in developing consumer products. - Deep understanding of filtering, audio processing/post-processing, and noise control algorithms. - Familiarity with DSP frameworks and digital communication protocols (I2C, I2S, SPI, UART, USB, A2B). - Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
