As a key technical leader in our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems for large-scale building projects.
- Lead the design and implementation of complex ELV systems, including building automation, fire alarm, security, telecommunications, and audio-visual systems
- Manage and mentor a team of ELV engineers, providing technical guidance and ensuring project success
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and clients, to ensure seamless integration of ELV systems
- Review and approve technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports
- Ensure compliance with local and international building codes and standards
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine project requirements and constraints
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in ELV systems
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in ELV systems
- Participate in business development activities and contribute to proposal preparation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Communication Engineering or a related field
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
- 10+ years of experience in ELV systems engineering, with a proven track record of successful large-scale projects
- Strong expertise in building automation, fire alarm, security, telecommunications, and audio-visual systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software, and experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM)
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to lead and mentor engineering teams
- In-depth knowledge of relevant building codes and standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders
- Relevant certifications such as RCDD, CTS, or NICET are highly desirable
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
- Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus
