Job Description

As a Software Engineer at Arcadis, you will play a crucial role in the complete software development lifecycle in a DevOps environment. You will have the opportunity to work with cloud-native stack, primarily on Azure and AWS platforms. Your passion for learning and intellectual curiosity will drive you to excel in this role. Here are the key responsibilities you will own: - Stay updated with current trends and experiment with new technologies - Collaborate with Agile teams for designing, developing, testing, and supporting technical solutions using full-stack development tools and technologies - Encourage innovation, cutting-edge technologies, teamwork, and self-organization - Assist in hiring top engineering talent while upholding the company's values and culture - Write unit tests to enhance code quality and facilitate rapid feature introduction - Ensure timely and high-quality project delivery by effectively managing scope, resources, and deadlines - Mentor junior developers and promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation - Lead code reviews to enforce best practices in design, security, and performance optimization - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and oversee sprint planning, task prioritization, and delivery milestones - Own project planning, timelines, and resource allocation To excel in this role, you should have: - Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or a related field - Experience in developing desktop and mobile applications, familiarity with common stacks - Proficiency in web development technologies such as AngularJS/React, .NET Core, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, and Azure Web Apps - Knowledge of programming principles like SOLID, OOP, and basic design patterns - Database experience in writing SQL, optimizing queries, and designing databases - Understanding of front-end and back-end languages, libraries, and 3rd party API integration - Ability to build resilient and reusable Microservices & APIs using the latest technologies and patterns - Experience in automated CI/CD, Containers, and Cloud technologies Basic Qualifications: - 6+ years of programming experience - Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent - Experience in relevant technologies and architectures - Experience in Test Driven Development Preferred Qualifications: - 8+ years of experience in Product Development - Master's or Minor in Computer Science - Expertise in developing RESTful APIs - Architecture and design experience with knowledge of design patterns & their implementation Join Arcadis to leverage your unique skills and expertise, contribute to sustainable solutions, and create a lasting legacy.
