We are looking for a skilled Principal Consultant specializing in Java, Selenium, Playwright, and API automation to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and delivering high-quality software solutions to our clients. Your duties will involve designing, implementing, and executing automated test scripts using Java and Selenium, as well as performing functional testing to ensure software applications" reliability and performance. Responsibilities: - Lead consulting projects and engagements, acting as the main client contact and offering strategic advice on testing strategies, automation frameworks, and quality assurance processes. - Design and implement robust test automation solutions using Java, Selenium, and API testing frameworks to ensure software applications" reliability, scalability, and performance. - Develop tests that verify application behavior across various browsers and devices, utilizing Playwright for browser automation. - Establish and maintain automated test suites for API endpoints and database interactions, utilizing tools like RestAssured and JDBC. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements, set best practices, and enhance software quality continually. - Design and implement automated tests using Playwright for web applications to ensure functionality, performance, and usability. - Conduct code reviews, optimize performance, and troubleshoot to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of test automation scripts and frameworks. - Mentor junior consultants and team members, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of learning and collaboration. - Keep updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in software testing and quality assurance, applying relevant methodologies and tools to improve testing processes and practices. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. - Experience in software development, quality assurance, and test automation. - Proficiency in Java, Selenium, Playwright, and API testing. - Agile and Jira experience. - Strong Java programming skills with hands-on experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks. - Expertise in Selenium WebDriver, API testing frameworks, and database testing. - Preferred qualifications include experience in banking or capital markets domain, analytical skills, leadership experience, and relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, Java certifications).
