Principal Architect - Infrastructure & Architecture

Role Overview: You will step into the role of a Principal Architect at JPMorgan Chase, where you will play a crucial role in driving the development and adoption of cutting-edge, cloud-based technologies within the Consumer & Community Banking's Infrastructure & Architecture function. Your expertise will be utilized to enhance and develop architecture platforms using modern cloud-based technologies, while also supporting the adoption of strategic global solutions. Collaboration with colleagues across the organization will be essential to promote best-in-class outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Advise cross-functional teams on technology selection to achieve target state architecture and decisions on improvements to current technologies - Develop multi-year roadmaps aligned with business and architecture strategy and priorities - Create complex and scalable coding frameworks using appropriate software design - Develop secure and high-quality production code, review and debug code written by others - Serve as the function's go-to subject matter expert - Contribute to the development of technical methods in specialized fields in line with the latest product development methodologies - Create durable, reusable software frameworks that improve velocity and quality of output across teams and functions - Champion the firm's culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect Qualification Required: - Formal training or certification on data management concepts and 10+ years applied experience, along with 5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate, and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise - Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability - Expertise in one or more programming language(s) - Deep knowledge in one or more software, applications, and architecture - Advanced knowledge of software architecture, application development, and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.) - Experience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for complex architecture problems in one or more technical disciplines - Experience leading a product as a Product Owner or Product Manager - Ability to present and effectively communicate to Senior Leaders and Executives - Understanding of the business - Practical cloud-native experience,
