Role Overview: As a Primary English Teacher at Siddhartha Quest CBSE School, you will be responsible for teaching English Language & Literature to Grades 3, 4, and 5 according to the CBSE curriculum. Your role involves developing engaging lesson plans to improve reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. You will incorporate phonics, storytelling, creative writing, and grammar activities to facilitate interactive and effective learning. Additionally, you will encourage spoken English through role-playing, debates, and discussions while utilizing innovative teaching methodologies such as technology integration and hands-on activities. Collaboration with co-teachers and school leadership to enhance the English language program and organizing literary activities and competitions will also be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Teach English Language & Literature to Grades 3, 4, and 5 following the CBSE curriculum. - Develop engaging lesson plans focusing on reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. - Incorporate phonics, storytelling, creative writing, and grammar activities for interactive learning. - Encourage spoken English through role-playing, debates, and discussions. - Utilize innovative teaching methodologies like technology integration and hands-on activities. - Conduct assessments, provide constructive feedback, and track student progress. - Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment to boost students" confidence and communication skills. - Collaborate with co-teachers and school leadership to enhance the English language program. - Organize literary activities and competitions to promote language skills. Qualification Required: - Educational Qualification: B.A./M.A. in English with B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. - Experience: Minimum 3 years of teaching English at the primary level (CBSE experience preferred). - Skills required: Strong phonics knowledge, expertise in grammar, creative writing, and spoken English training, excellent communication and storytelling skills, passion for interactive teaching methods, proficiency in technology-enhanced learning.
