Primary English Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

1. Teaching & Learning

• Deliver structured English lessons as per the CBSE curriculum.
  
• Develop students grammar, vocabulary, phonics, reading fluency, and creative writing skills.
  
• Use interactive teaching strategies, storytelling, role-play, and activity-based learning.
  
• Encourage a love for reading through class libraries and reading sessions.
  

2. Classroom Management

• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
  
• Manage classroom behavior effectively following school norms.
  
• Track and support individual student progress.
  

3. Assessment & Evaluation

• Prepare worksheets, assignments, and periodic assessments as per CBSE standards.
  
• Evaluate students' performance and provide constructive feedback.
  
• Maintain accurate records of assessments and classroom performance.
  

4. Student Support

• Identify learners needing additional help and provide remedial sessions.
  
• Encourage participation in literary activities such as recitation, debates, and story narration.
  

5. Parent & School Collaboration

• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress.
  
• Participate in PTMs, school events, assemblies, and academic planning meetings.
  

6. Professional Development

• Attend training sessions, workshops, and orientation programs organized by the school.
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in English or relevant discipline.
  

• B.Ed is mandatory

  (as per CBSE norms).
• Minimum 1–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school (preferred).
  
• Strong command of English (spoken & written).
  
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  
• Passion for teaching young learners.
