PRIMARY ENGINEER

As a Design Engineer (Primary), you will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and executing Primary Engineering Activities for Substation Projects under the guidance of the Design Lead (Primary). Your role will involve expertise in Layout Engineering within Substation Projects and assisting in the development of BIM 3D Models for Substations. Your key responsibilities will include timely review of drawings, collaboration with Site Execution & Cluster teams, coordination with inter-disciplinary areas for design specifications, ensuring compliance with specifications, reviewing drawings and documentation for quality systems, evaluating Vendor Offers, conducting Pre-Tender Engineering activities, and preparing design calculations for various Substation equipment. In terms of technical expertise, you are expected to possess a comprehensive understanding of Primary Engineering activities such as SLD Preparation, Layout Engineering, Earthing, Cable Routing, Lighting, Lightning Protection, and Cable Tray Routing. You should be proficient in design and sizing calculations for Busbar, UPS, DG, LT Transformer, Earthing Conductor, as well as calculations related to Short circuit force and Sag tension. Familiarity with National and International Codes and Standards is essential, along with a general comprehension of inter-disciplinary design aspects related to electrical equipment. Your role as a Design Engineer (Primary) will require close collaboration with various teams and departments to ensure the successful execution of Substation Projects.,
