Collaboration plays a key role in this role as you will work closely with various teams such as pattern makers, manufacturers, merchandising teams, marketing teams, and production staff to ensure that the final product aligns with your vision and meets quality standards. Presenting your designs to clients, buyers, or stakeholders is also part of the job, where you will showcase your designs and gather feedback. You will also be responsible for ensuring that your designs align with the overall brand identity and target market. Keeping up with new materials, techniques, and sustainable practices is crucial in this role to stay informed and bring fresh ideas to your designs.
