Role Overview: As an AHEAD Security Specialty Solutions Engineer (SSE), you will be the go-to expert for security technologies and solutions. Your main responsibilities will include selling and designing complex security solutions, as well as being a thought leader for security within the company. You will work closely with sales representatives, practice leaders, and other SSE team members to develop market strategies, assist with account planning, and identify potential security technologies and vendors for clients. Collaboration with senior SSEs in your practice will also be essential in creating diagrams, proposals, and other documentation for security sales campaigns. Your role will require time management, prioritization, defining security strategies, building key relationships, and configuring security products effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Actively participate in the AHEAD Security team and related virtual teams. - Be a thought leader within the Solutions Engineering organization, focusing on designing, architecting, and consulting for AHEAD clients in the security domain. - Build skills, relationships, and industry credibility to drive product, services, and consulting sales in the security space. - Support sales teams by providing optimized advice, solutions, or proposals during engagements. - Develop relationships with Security SSE team members, leaders, and partners to support sales objectives. - Strategize and conduct technical sales calls, completing required pre-sales documentation accurately and efficiently. - Qualify sales opportunities based on customer technical requirements, decision-making process, and funding. - Present and market proposed AHEAD security solutions and business justifications to customers, prospects, and management. - Mentor entry-level team members and possess strong product/technology/industry knowledge in the security domain. - Knowledge of job-associated software and applications. Qualifications: - Experience with any SASE vendor is a significant differentiator. - 7-10 years of technical experience with security controls in areas such as Firewalls, IDS/IPS, NTA, NDR, NGAV, EDR, SIEM, Vulnerability Scanning, DLP, Penetration Testing. - Experience in architecture design that integrates solutions across multiple vendors. - 5-8 years of experience as a consultant for clients, advising on technical solutions and participating in pre-sales and solution development. - Familiarity with Public Cloud providers: AWS, Azure, GCP. - Ability to grasp new technology concepts quickly, evaluate new technologies, and provide internal training. - Ability to understand customer needs, define requirements, design solutions, and present architectural recommendations and implementation/assessment services. - Expertise with Vendor Configuration Tools. Preferred Skills: - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Excellent presentation skills. - Strong Technical Aptitude. - Provide technical leadership, assure quality, and maximize team output. - Self-motivated. Preferred Certifications: - Industry: CISSP, CISA. - Vendor: Palo Alto Cortex, Cisco XDR, Microsoft Security, Zscaler, CrowdStrike, Wiz.,
