SolarWinds Admin will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and configuring of the SolarWinds Server and Application Monitor (SAM) and other modules. The selected individual will be a subject matter expert of SolarWinds SAM and have a solid understanding of design, troubleshooting and configuration. This position supports network operations and ensures system availability by monitoring and controlling system and network resources. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Install, configure and administer/support SolarWinds ORION components to include (NPM), Server and Application Monitor (SAM), IPAM, NCM, NTA, NTM etc. Extensive experience in application monitoirng through SolarWinds SAM, which consist SQL, Actie directory, exchange, service, URL etc. Extensive experience in AppInsight for SQL and Logfilemonitoirng. Perform configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting SolarWinds and related network management system tools. Must be able to provide customize reports and schedule them. Must be able to help on capacity planning by producing meaning full reports. Basic Qualifications: Experience configuring monitors using SNMP, SSH, agent, WMI and other technologies. Experience monitoring a variety of end devices to include routers, switches, firewalls, Windows servers, Linux servers and UNIX servers. Experience developing interactive maps with Network Atlas. Experience in configuring custom reports upon request from local customers. Knowledge of database requirements and configuration of SolarWinds ORION applications. Ability to plan and execute system and software installations upgrades and changes across the organization Strong communications skills to relate technical details to non-technical leaders and SolarWinds users. SolarWinds SAM Certified Professional (SCP) will be given preference.
