Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing financial insights to support business decisions. Responsibilities Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, trial balances, and monthly/quarterly/yearly financial statements. Assist in the preparation of reports for management, highlighting financial performance and variances from budgets or forecasts. Perform bank reconciliations and other balance sheet account reconciliations. Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections. Review and reconcile vendor statements, identify discrepancies, and work with vendors to resolve issues. Monitor overdue accounts and assist in collection efforts where necessary. Identify and analyse financial trends and variances, and provide actionable insights to management.
