As a Technical Publication professional, you will be responsible for developing manuals for maintenance, operation, repair, and overhaul support for aircrafts, automobiles, aero-engines, and components. Your expertise will include creating detailed parts lists for illustrated parts catalogs and lists, as well as revising service bulletins and manuals. You will also handle technical illustration activities such as creating illustrations from design drawings and developing exploded view illustrations. Your role will involve providing a user-friendly structured documentation system for storing electronic documents and graphics. You should have hands-on experience with data publishing in SGML/XML format for publishing to ITEM, and be able to customize style sheets and schemas for data formatting. Additionally, you will work with authoring tools like Epic Editor, Adobe Frame Maker, Adobe Page Maker, MS Word, and illustration tools like Isodraw, Autotrol Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, and AutoCAD. The ideal candidate for this position will possess excellent communication skills, both interpersonal and customer-related. You should be a strong team player with the ability to work effectively in large teams. A willingness to learn, improve, and develop others in the team is essential. A bachelor's or master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Instrumentation, Civil, or Structural Engineering is required, and an MBA will be an added advantage for sales, marketing, or management positions. Candidates with 2-10 years of industry experience are preferred, and experience working with global clients and overseas projects will be advantageous. Positions are available at various levels, including engineers, leads, experts, and developers. You should be willing to work anywhere in India and overseas, and proven experience in ensuring customer satisfaction is a plus.
