To learn more, visit www.luminartech.com. As a Senior Analyst at Luminar, you will play a pivotal role in supporting day-to-day accounting functions. Your responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing financial records, reconciling accounts, assisting in month-end and year-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and accounting standards. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical abilities, a foundational understanding of accounting principles, and thrives in both independent and collaborative work environments. This position offers an excellent opportunity to establish a solid footing in corporate accounting and advance within the finance domain. Developing strong relationships with various business departments such as legal, tax, sales, treasury, and human resources will be essential for success and accurate reporting. Joining a growing global finance reporting and technical accounting team, you will contribute significantly to the company's financial operations. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with accounting team members to maintain accurate general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries for routine transactions. - Assist in updating, refining, and implementing the company's accounting policies and procedures. - Provide analyses and recommendations for process enhancements and internal control measures. - Support the quarterly and year-end close processes in compliance with US GAAP. - Facilitate audits by liaising with internal teams and external auditors. - Engage in special projects as required. - Uphold strict confidentiality of all sensitive information. Minimum Qualifications: - Active CA membership is mandatory. - 3-5 years of corporate experience in Record to Report. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting. - Proficiency in US GAAP, IFRS, and IND AS. - Familiarity with key accounting concepts like prepaid recognition, bank reconciliation, and intercompany transactions. - Strong documentation skills to articulate accounting impacts logically. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Understanding of consolidated financial statements and the ability to explain the impact of transactions on financial statements. - Experience in the automotive industry is advantageous. - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
