Role Overview: Hanwha Ocean is on a transformative journey towards becoming a project-centric and client-driven organization. As a Senior Piping Layout Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the Topside facilities for FPSO/FLNG or Offshore facilities. Your responsibilities will include assisting in leading and controlling Piping engineering activities, developing technical standards/procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing engineering expertise and support for efficient and safe Piping and utility systems. You will also collaborate with various disciplines, attend project meetings, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: - Assist the Lead for Topside Layout in Project Team and Communicate with Clients. - Update and Maintain EPCI and O & M Phase Lesson Learnt database. - Prepare and develop engineering documents according to relevant design codes and standards. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. - Provide engineering expertise for efficient and safe Piping and utility systems. - Attend project meetings and generate MOM. - Manage interface with relevant disciplines and report progress to Head of Discipline/ Lead. - Adhere to project schedule and prepare progress reports. - Develop Project Design Philosophies, Standards, and Procedures. - Provide input for weight control report and co-ordinate with modeling team. - Resolve technical issues during fabrication, installation & commissioning phases. - Perform Piping calculations, studies, and deliverables. - Participate in design review workshops and technical discussions. - Review Vendor Documents and ensure compliance with contract requirements. - Review work of less experienced team members to ensure quality and accuracy. - Conduct feasibility studies and provide engineering support for bid proposals. - Raise Technical Queries towards the clients project documents. - Provide engineering support for construction, commissioning, and operation team. - Prepare & Review as-built Piping deliverables. - Work with Engineering Software like AutoCAD and AVEVA E3D. Qualifications: - Minimum Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. - Minimum 10 years working experience with 5 years in Oil & Gas industries. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively independently or as part of a team. - Fluent in English with strong oral and written communication skills.
