As a Rust Support Engineer, you will be responsible for utilizing your knowledge of the Rust programming language to support and troubleshoot issues in a production environment. You should have a strong hands-on experience with AWS serverless technologies such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3. It would be advantageous if you also have experience with Predict Spring or other Cloud POS solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include identifying, diagnosing, and resolving issues in a Rust production environment. You will be required to implement monitoring and logging solutions to proactively detect and address potential problems. Additionally, you will be developing high-performance, secure, and efficient applications using Rust, while ensuring that the code is clean, maintainable, and well-documented. Effective communication is key in this role, as you will be required to collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and clients to understand requirements and provide updates. It is essential to document technical specifications, processes, and solutions clearly and concisely. Participation in code reviews, team meetings, and knowledge-sharing sessions is encouraged to foster a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate should have at least 6 years of experience in production support and possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience in troubleshooting issues in a production environment is a must. It would be beneficial if you have worked on any cloud POS and have integrated and enhanced point-of-sale functionalities using Predict Spring or other Cloud POS solutions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of POS systems is also part of the role.,
