Core Responsibilities Demand Forecasting: Analyzing sales and production forecasts to determine the necessary quantities of raw materials required. Inventory Control: Monitoring and controlling raw material stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking, ensuring they are maintained at optimal levels to reduce costs and waste. Procurement Coordination: Working closely with the purchasing department to release timely schedules for raw material procurement and ensuring effective control over their timely delivery. Material Availability: Ensuring that raw materials are available on the production floor when and where needed, coordinating the flow of materials to the shop floor.
