You will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of packing machineries, performing breakdown and maintenance at customer factory locations, carrying out alteration and modification works, as well as undertaking drilling, tapping, and sheet metal fabrication tasks. Additionally, you will be involved in fabrication and welding works, visiting milling and lathe workshops to machine or alter components, ensuring precision alignment of bearings and shafts, and replacing shafts, plumber blocks, cylinders, etc. Furthermore, you will need to drive a two-wheeler to customer locations punctually. Your skillset should include experience in metal fabrication, proficiency in handling power tools such as Hand-drill and Angle grinder, knowledge in troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA), expertise in Arc Welding, proficiency in using Venier Calliper and micrometres, familiarity with machining processes like Milling, turning, and surface grinding, precision alignment and assembly skills, adeptness in driving a two-wheeler, and a readiness to travel within a 50km radius. The ideal candidate for this position should possess an ITI/Diploma in the Mechanical field, along with a valid driving license. This is a Full-time, Permanent, Contractual/Temporary job with a contract length of 6 months. The work schedule includes day shifts with weekend availability and a yearly bonus. The educational requirement is preferred to be Secondary (10th Pass), and the preferred experience includes a minimum of 1 year in power tools and metal fabrication, as well as Arc Welding. Proficiency in the Tamil language is required. The necessary licenses/certifications for this role are a Driving Licence (Required) and an ITI or Diploma certificate (Preferred).
